Traffic on the server seems to have fallen off so I am going to spare myself the work of maintaining the server. I will jump in Sab's for a game now and then.

As promised here is the download for a buy script. Install this and you will see additional options in your key binds.
The game server has moved to San Jose, California. We'll test connections this week and see how it goes.
LANDMINES - 04.08.08
Land mines are installed on the game server. Each player spawns with 6 land mines each round. To plant a land mine you simply bind a key, then hold down that key for 5 seconds in the game to plant.
Teammates can see each others land mines. Planted land mines are displayed in the game as pulsing purple rings around the mine location. In order for the mine to go off, a player must step exactly in the middle of the plant location.
This makes getting land mine kills harder, but all the more worth while.
A word of caution. We have found that on occasion an HE grenade thrown in the map (anywhere) can set off land mines prematurely. If you are planting a land mine and you suddenly 'go to the moon' in a blast, this is likely what happened. So, plant fast!
To bind a key to plant land mines add the line below to your config.cfg. This example binds the letter 'J' to plant mines.
bind J +mine
You can also bind that on the fly during gameplay by typing that in your console.

If you want to stay abreast of the new maps that make it onto the server without relying on Fast Downloads you can simply watch the home page of
Lanmaniax. If they post a new CS or DE map that looks decent, get it installed before joining our game server. If I see something I like on Lanmaniax I usually install it for playing.
